WHY NOW?

Rough Magic was born of our time… a time defined by a loneliness epidemic, when dating apps promise infinite possibility and deliver infinite scroll. While non-traditional relationships are more visible and more practiced than any previous generation, the emotional vocabulary to navigate them hasn't caught up. People are trying new structures for love without new language for what those structures cost.
